Art journal flip-through

Vintage book art journal #2

I have good news and bad news…

The good news is that I turned in a new Gelli Arts video tutorial this morning. I’ve been working on it for more almost a week (and preparations started the week before).

The bad news is that I was in video-editing mode the entire weekend. And, the weather was so dreadful I didn’t even have an excuse to leave the house.

Anyway. I’m sure you guessed it: I don’t have a vlog for you today. Not even a mini vlog! However, I’ve recorded a little flip-through video instead.

The flip-through is of one of two vintage books I use as art journals. You’ve seen me work in this one last week or the week before.

Of the two, this one has the most ‘finished’ spreads.

Not that that’s important! I believe you can do whatever you like in an art journal. That’s what they are for. So no spread ever has to be(come) anything.

I think I started creating in this book circa 2010. The earliest dated entry I found is from 2013, though, so I could be wrong!

The clipped-shut spread will be revealed in the upcoming Gelli Arts video. ;-) It will go online on 6 April!

Have a wonderful week!
